Jane's Saddlebag Whine Shoppe
Winemakers from across the state will show off their vino artistry at the Jane's Saddlebag Wine Festival, May 31 - June 1. This second annual celebration -- held at the northern Kentucky tourist attraction that offers visitors hands-on history, family fun, food and a whopping dose of down-home whimsy -- also features live music and more than 40 art and craft vendors.
The festival is held from noon to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The $14 entry fee (kids 12 and under are free) includes a commemorative glass to use for the wine tastings and 4 tasting tickets; 10 additional tasting tickets can be purchased for $5. Pre-sale tickets are available at a $2 discount and include free parking and expedited entry into the festival. Participating Kentucky wineries include: Atwood Hill Winery, Elk Creek Vineyards, Forest Edge Winery, Generation Hill Winery, Horseshoe Bend Vineyard and Winery, Lovers Leap Winery, McIntyre Vineyards, Noah's Ark Winery, Redman's Farm Winery, Rose Hill Farm Winery, Serendipity Winery, Smith Berry Vineyard and Winery, Stonebrook Winery, Talon Winery, Verona Winery, White Buck Winery, White Moon Winery and Wight-Meyer Winery.
Live music by Blue Grass Mafia, Jane's Gang, Ron & Country Pride and Lonesome Jared & Heart Attacks can be enjoyed while chowing down on what event organizers describe as "great homemade food and desserts ... so bring your appetite!"
Kentucky Monthly is a proud sponsor of the Jane's Saddlebag Wine Festival.
