  2. We do run a Kentucky Kwiz each month in the front of the magazine, and we are starting to offer the same kwiz online. Glad you enjoyed it. Keep checking back for next month’s installment.

  3. Bobbie Jaggers says:

    This is great !!!

  4. Ken Gray says:

Explain the answer to question #9. How are Butch Beard and Ralph Beard related? Butch played at U of L and Ralph played at UK. As far as I know that are not related.

    Thanks, enjoyed the quiz.

    Ken Gray

    • Oops. The question should have read “Which combination IS related?” The correct answer would be A. the daughter-and-son combo of Clem and Clemette Haskins. As for Butch and Ralph Beard, they are both originally for Hardinsburg (as is Silver-medal winner Percy Morris Beard). None of the three is directly related as far as we can tell. We will run a correction in the magazine and fix the on-line quiz as quickly as possible. Thanks for playing and your interest in the Kwiz.

    • Joseph Layman says:

Different Culture of players at different schools playing great basketball at UL and Kentucky.

  7. Helen-Bragg Cleary says:

    Dear Kentucky Monthly,

The Kentucky Kwiz is a great concept. You should ask “Who was
Kentucky’s first United States Senator?” and “Where is his Kentucky home?”

    Helen-Bragg Cleary
