Traditions run deep in the Cornelison family, who have been producing the famous Bybee Pottery since 1809. The family started the operation in tiny Bybee on the banks of the Kentucky River in Madison County. Today, the pieces are still produced there, but they are sold at the Bybee retail store in Middletown. Bybee Pottery comes in distinctive solid colors as well as its signature sponged design.
